OnePlus's upcoming flagship, rumored to be called the OnePlus 15, will be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite 2 and is expected to sport a 6.78-inch flat 1.5K LTPO display, according to a DCS leak. OnePlus 15 is also expected to have ultra-slim bezels and will be lighter than the OnePlus 13.https://www.notebookcheck.net/OnePlus-15-tipped-to-launch-with-Snapdragon-8-Elite-2-ultra-slim-bezels-and-lower-display-resolution-than-OnePlus-13.1014408.0.html
Don't you mean 14? It's not even out yet and the 13 had 8 elite, so the next logical step is 14. 15 will probably have 8 elite v3.
Interested in the 15R though, which will have 14 internals and SoC.

In the article they said it will likely be
called the OnePlus 15 because Chinese OEMs often skip the number 4
4 is an unlucky number as Chinese pronunciation of it is same as "death" so like "13" in the west it is usually not picked
Not only that, but 14 sounds even worse than 4. In Cantonese, 4 = "sei" = "death", and 14 = "sut sei" = "guaranteed death"! OnePlus already skipped 4, so you can bet they will skip 14 even harder!
At that rate, soon they better plan on also skipping 666 - the lucky number of the devil.
