Title: Multimedia talent featuring brilliant OLED—almost without a catch: Acer Swift 16 AI laptop review
Post by: Redaktion on May 12, 2025, 20:23:34
The Acer Swift 16 AI with Core Ultra 9 excels in tests with its vibrant OLED colors and strong overall performance, suitable for AI tasks, everyday use, and light gaming. Despite the mediocre speakers, it represents an excellent option for demanding users seeking outstanding picture quality and modern technology.

These are by far the worst response times I have ever seen  on an OLED display (18ms and 4.8ms), let alone on a 120 Hz one. Usually it's 0.5-1ms. 1/0.018 ≈ 55 Hz.

We're going crazy. This product shouldn't cost €1,500, but closer to €1,000 would be the right price. I prefer a version with AMD processors or wait for the new PanterLAke to come out, which is Intel's only hope right now because everyone is running away from Intel-based products.
One of the things I like least is the incomplete numeric keypad when they have enough space to put the one that has always been on every laptop.

I agree. Prices are about 15-30% over what they should be costing.

The usual wait a few months and watch it drop like a rock continues.
