Some users avoid the Epic Games launcher because of slow navigation and downloads. Tim Sweeney is aware of Steam's advantages over the marketplace. Despite these issues, Sweeney thinks the Epic Games Store is preferable for multi-platform gamers.

The answer is easy stop using whatever kind of web framework for the epic launcher and choose some kind of native solution.
If I am correct epic launch is using electron to make the app which is notorious for the slowness and massive. They just should used another solution that is faster that that crappy framework.

Still better than the EA app. Which causes game to not load or crash within minutes making games unplayable
