Title: Huawei MateBook Pro leaves Intel and Microsoft behind thanks to Kirin X90 and HarmonyOS 5
Post by: Redaktion on May 09, 2025, 19:57:58
With the MateBook Pro, Huawei has apparently developed a laptop that almost entirely relies on its own in-house technology, including the operating system and ARM-based processor. This could make the MateBook Pro an interesting competitor to the MacBook Air as well as Windows laptops with Snapdragon chipsets.

Looks promising. Shame, it's only available for the Chinese market.

Quote from: Eku on Yesterday at 14:48:48"Since all ten cores support multi-threading, the processor offers a total of 20 threads."

Please go back to art.  You are clueless.

And there is even a reviewer listed for this article.   Why even bother?  Oh, you didn't.

Wow, you must be fun at parties!

Even if the author or translator were wrong, being so mean about it is unnecessary.

They clearly mean the processor supports symmetric multithreading (SMT) and can run 2 threads simultaneously per core. Which is correct if all other leaks and rumours of these processors are to be believed.

So just go back to your moms basement and complain to your discord about how nobody likes you.
