Or you can just remap the button to another application, possibly another function.
You know, instead of this stupidity.
He mentions the remapping of buttons if you actually read the article. 😂
I've actually printed one of these in TPU and it's exactly what I've been looking for!
For the record, it's a case...it wasn't created just to cover up a button. If someone doesn't have the knowledge to remap a button on a remote, this is a very quick and cheap solution.
Anyone referring to 3D printing as 'stupidity' has zero sense of creativity or ingenuity. They were originally designed to solve problems and do so for pennies on the dollar.
Is it really though? I've used the Button Mapper app to remap the buttons which doesn't actually work. It works briefly I should say, then later the Netflix button is back in horrifying effect. I understand you have to root the device in order to do this inside the OS which presumably will stick but never took the time to figure out how to do that.
Awesome. Just printed this last night and it works great. I've heard the "remapping button" routine will work, not work, work, not work. This 3D model with the covered up Netflix seems like a solid fix. I should have printed it some other color than black ... so I can find it easier. Maybe an update would be to have an RFID tag slot.
actually my math skills r very bad
so just help me to know anything about this formula: what kind? how to solve ,a general idea abt it
i would appreciate it.
I don't have a 3D printer, but I bought something similar from Amazon. It's a soft, silicone type material though, so the remote won't sit level. The raised material from the case is all that's needed to greatly reduce accidental button presses. It also provides protection for the battery cover. It came with a lanyard as well, which has its uses. They sell multiple colorways, including glow in the dark, but I went with standard blue. Goes well with all the other blue accessories I have lol.
