Along with a Ryzen AI 5 340 APU, Dell is offering 16 GB LPDDR5-7500 RAM, a 512 GB SSD and Wi-Fi 7 for the $800 base configuration, but there are more expensive variants featuring the Ryzen AI 7 350 and a 1 TB SSD.https://www.notebookcheck.net/Dell-launches-the-14-Plus-notebook-lineup-with-AMD-Krackan-Point-APUs-starting-at-800.1007922.0.html
What a surprise... they unnecessarily nerfed the AMD version.
Why is the better screen option not available? Why artificially limit HDMI to 1.4 on an APU that comes with HDMI 2.1 as standard?
I'm going to assume that it's Intel pressuring Dell to nerf the AMD version, but still... not happy.
