There is no way this car will be sold in either US or EU. It is made by a chinese company. Toyota couldn't make it in their factories even if they wanted to. And they will not eat tariffs just to bring it. This car will likely remain in Asia and maybe Australia.

Blame the Internet for this. In the olden days you would go to the dealership and a rep would tell you which car is good, better, best. Now, everyone is shopping online and numbers in model names help with discoverability. It just works better.
