Post by: Redaktion on April 19, 2025, 10:00:31
Earlier in March 2025, Beelink announced that it would enter the NAS market with the introduction of the ME series mini PCs. The first product of the line is now here, and it's called the ME mini, which has support for up to 24 TB of NVMe storage.

It is wonderful that it has "no sense of mute".

But can it run TrueNAS or is it locked down to a proprietary operating system?

What OS / software does it run? 🤔

Hardware specs sound great but for most people, it's the stability and reliability of NAS software stack that's the important bit. 😶

What do you think about the total cost of ownership given the hardware? Power consumption and price vs lifetime of the drives. It's always changing I suppose.
