Lenovo will launch a new compact gaming tablet next month. This new tablet will be a refresh of the Legion Y700 (2025) and has been tipped to feature an 8.8-inch display as well as a new design and a Snapdragon 8 Elite.

No micro SD card slot = stay in the store just like the 2024 one

I have a 2024 model.

It's a lovely tablet. Shame about the Lenovo skin but I've replaced that with Microsoft launcher (don't judge me, I like it!)

Wishlist for a new version would include OLED screen, biometrics (ideally fingerprint), wireless charging and micro SD expansion. In that order.

But even without that it's an ace little tablet.

I have the sdg3. It needs better cooling because it gets pretty hot pretty fast. That and a sd card slot, because why not.
