Have it be the rise of Shao Khan
Also have Scorpion quest through the Nethrelm to get Harumi's soul back and fight Shinnok, Drahmin, Moloch and Quan Chi.

Have the game end with Reiko waking up Onaga

That's actually pretty solid tbf. Wouldn't mind seeing Harley Quinn as the guest. After Joker in 11, she seems like the logical next choice.
