PlayStation fans may get two consoles instead of one with the next generation as rumors are hinting at a handheld device that will feature a 3nm-based 15W SoC. As to how powerful this handheld will be, only time will tell.

The PS6 portable doesn't need to match the PS5 performance as the screen won't be 4k, it just needs to be able to natively play every single PS5 game without any issues at or very close to the screen's native resolution.

Then it needs to be able to run a version of all PS6 games, certainly they will need to be heavily cut down and maybe certain features complete disabled but obviously it still needs to be in essence the same game. With VRR you could get away with 720p at 30-60fps plus it can be given a big helping hand from PSSR too.
