Rumours about the internals or a Nintendo Switch 3 successor have already started appearing online, months before even the Nintendo Switch 2 ships. Apparently, the Nintendo Switch 3 will eventually launch with a graphics chipset that leverages the Intel 18A manufacturing process. While Intel 18A will not enter mass production until later this year, Intel is already cutting the prices of its Lunar Lake chips to gain market share over AMD.https://www.notebookcheck.net/Nintendo-Switch-3-tipped-to-use-GPU-manufactured-by-Intel-as-Lunar-Lake-prices-cut-to-challenge-AMD.997324.0.html
Well 18a is a node, that they'll be aggressively pitching to gain marketshare and become the second place foundry after TSMC.
So that could still be a future Tegra varient, fabbed on 18a.
No way anything about the switch 3 is set in stone from now what are you talking about

It is NORMAL for companies to plan at such early stages, so it's no surprise that Nintendo is already preparing the field for the Switch 3, even if it will be released in the mid 2030s.
