Lenovo offers a wide product lineup and it is not easy always easy to find the right device. It is even more complicated when you have two very similar products like the two 14-convertibles we just tested, where the less expensive Yoga 7 is actually better than the Yoga 9 in some respects.

The only thing to know is whether or not the hinges are screwed in the metal of the lid or in plastic glued on the lid. One is durable the other is bound to fail, specially with a "double hinge" 2-in-1.

Really, if NotebookCheck or other reviewers find a way to review hinge attachment in laptops (open them or maybe X-ray ?), you would not only help consumer choose wisely but also develop an influence on how constructors "engineer" their products.
