Dataminers believe Electronic Arts might be planning to introduce a subscription model for monetizing Battlefield 6 – and the Reddit community isn't taking it well.https://www.notebookcheck.net/Battlefield-6-leak-sparks-fury-EA-reportedly-plans-aggressive-monetization-with-Battlefield-Pro-subscription.994573.0.html
Battlefield has gone down hill over recent years, and if EA doesn't change it's tactics, battlefield will no longer be around, and call of duty will be the main FPS game if choice.
How EA can fix battlefield before it's too late.

Idk they've done some good recently, they did open source the Westwood C&C games recently. Ofcourse, it only took them 20 years after they completely left the franchise to die.
I'd not say COD is in much or any better state. Activision is owned by Microsoft now. Everything MS touches ends up becoming a disaster. So I'd say COD's days are equally numbered too now.
