I have no love for OLED. It's glossy and the PWM it uses kills my eyes.
Grrr, Lenovo! Why?? Where have the ergonomically superior inverted T arrow keys gone? I have the excellent but ageing (it's heavy) Yoga Slim Pro 7 and it has inverted T arrow keys. Please stick with ThinkPad ergonomics! We are professionals not students. Now I'll have to look at the ASUS ProArt that retains the correct arrow key layout. Would prefer to stick with Lenovo.

I wish there was some sort of strict certification for vetting oled panels which are more eye friendly.
Because there are some that are less inducing or damaging. Unfortunately, it's like a lottery finding them and I've to agree with your overall sentiment, the vast majority are terrible.
At the same time once you get so used to OLEDs over contrast it becomes hard to go back to standard IPS. They feel like so dull and like budget panels in comparison.
Maybe miniLED is the way to go? But I think even they have pwm too. Unsure how bad they're tho. Maybe they're typically high freq. so the effect isn't as bad?
They still have the issue of high power consumption at higher brightness settings tho..
