While it is still UNKNOWN how much RAM is in the Switch2, the STORAGE was upgraded to 256GB that operates faster than the storage found on the Switch1.
Due to the 'on the fly recompile' of old Switch1 code to Switch2 code, THAT result may reside on onboard Storage while the Switch1 games cartridge is installed.
