Ubisoft is spinning off a new subsidiary with a 25% stake from Tencent to accelerate development of its three major franchises viz. Assassin's Creed, Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six, and Far Cry. CEO Yves Guillemot said that this strategic move will help in better quality titles while helping the company consolidate its debt.
