I'm assuming that it's an OK laptop for Linux, but I'd definitely not touch it for Windows.
Um, the Snapdragon X1 26 100 is a budget Snapdragon (less even than the Snapdragon Plus, much less than the Elite), not a next generation. It is not faster, near as I can tell from reviews I've seen all over.
