Title: Starlink Mini dish hits record-low price in the US
Post by: Redaktion on March 18, 2025, 20:44:05
The Starlink Mini dish has reached a new all-time low price point, following a massive $229 price cut at Walmart. The discount finally makes the Mini a more competitive alternative to the Standard Kit.

While the Mini-Dish is being discounted in various places the BIG news is their new capped roaming plans.

Just announced a $10USD for 10GB plan as a smaller/shorter duration plan that is 1/5th of the fairly recently offered $50 for 50GB roaming plan.

Considering that according to my router, my entire household uses <40GB a month the $50 plan looks very attractive.

When out and about in the RV if the weather goes 'south' and we end up Streaming a bunch, we might go through 8-9GB on a 3 day 2 night trip. Thus making the $10 for 10GB plan just about perfect for our intermittent use in the wild.

Buyer Beware, saw this "deal" and did some digging on the retailer "Spice Mobile". Best Buy won't price match as it's a third party retailer, and the reviews seem sketchy, with some saying Walmart won't help with some issues. IMHO I'd probably steer clear of this.
