EA is once again facing criticism for its aggressive monetization tactics – this time with Skate, a game still in closed alpha and not yet officially released.

Ok - count me in the "who cares about cosmetics" camp.

After all "Free to Play" has to come at SOME cost somewhere otherwise why bother creating a game in the 1st place?

As everyone knows, creating games costs MONEY and developers need to get THAT money back (and hopefully some more) to get a return on their investment unless they were planning on losing money on the project.
