Based on my experience with Casio Pro Trek and Oceanus watches, I'd buy a Casio mechanical watch without hesitation if style and features were appropriate for me.

Which Pro Trek model have you had experience with? I was planning to get the PRJ-B001WM-1 next month, but I might consider other models too!
