8BitDo has started offering its Ultimate 2 wireless controller in more markets. Now available in the UK and Europe, the 8BitDo Ultimate 2 combines TMR joysticks and Hall effect triggers, among other hardware.

Without a DS4 mode, extra buttons and adding a gyro are largely useless as you can't use them in games except to copy existing Xbox controls.   This upgrade is great but is missing a. Major gap in 8bitdo's software strategy.

This is largely true, however any game that can run through steam input would also support the gyroscope with some tuning, so it's possible for some unique combinations!
