Title: New Xiaomi Redmi Book Pro 16 released with massive 99 Wh battery and ultra-fast 3K display
Post by: Redaktion on February 27, 2025, 16:51:00
Xiaomi has overhauled the Redmi Book 16 Pro, which it now sells as the Redmi Book Pro 16 2025. Not only does the 16-inch laptop now come with a choice of Intel Arrow Lake processors, but it also utilises a huge 99 Wh battery and a 165 Hz display running at 3.1K.

It is a shame that Xiaomi chooses Intel processors and not the new AMD Ryzen Zen 5, which are much better not only in the CPU but also in the iGPU, since with that Intel processor and its integrated graphics it is impossible to play AAA games and render in CAD, CAM and 3D.

Thank you. Looks very promising. Especially if they've resolved most of the minor issues from last year's model. Like the design as well. New Core 255h is good CPU even compared to AMD, not regrets here. I understand, AMD CPUs are prohibited from Chinese manufacturers. Price is also great, just worried that Trump's tariffs/taxes is going to make it much more expensive here in US.

You know the 255H benchmarks pretty much identical as the Ryzen AI 9 HX 370, also in iGPU performance, right?
