AMD has announced that it will join Framework at the upcoming February 25 Framework 2nd Gen hardware launch event. This, along with Framework's previous cryptic teaser, suggests that perhaps AMD and Framework may release an upgradeable and repairable AMD Strix Halo motherboard and accompanying hardware.

I hope it is a redesigned 13 inch laptop (thus "2nd gen") with LPCAMM2 ram, eGPU support, and not a 2 in 1.

Why not both? I would like to see a 2-in-1 that uses the same mainboard as the Framework 13. It likely wouldn't be compatible with older mainboard because of the need for a touchscreen port, but the touchscreen-capablw mainboard could be used in the conventional laptop and as an upgrade.

With as much power as the 8060S has, I doubt they'd see a need to add eGPU support (I'm assuming you mean via OCUlink, since USB4 can already support eGPU)

+1 LPCAMM2 needs to come soon, and most likely will with this upcoming Max sku, but I imagine Framework are waiting for it to become more mainstream before switching to it on their other boards.
