Title: Iqunix teases MQ80 as 'ultimate low-profile' mechanical keyboard: Full aluminium build, 350-hour battery life, and compact 80% layout
Post by: Redaktion on February 21, 2025, 21:53:31
Iqunix has officially teased its MQ80 as an iteration on its low-profile keyboard design formula. The MQ80 shares many of the same features and design elements as the Magi65, which has become the gold standard for low-profile mechanical keyboards, but amps things up with even longer battery life and a compact 80% layout.

The pictures show what appears to be a 75% keyboard layout, not an 80% keyboard layout.

It does look a 75% layout, but they've managed to squeeze in a few extra keys than a traditional 75% board has. Check the top row, to the right of the F row. All of the F keys are squished right up against each other, so there's space for more keys to the right.

It will be an 84-key keyboard, which makes it almost exactly 80% of the standard 104-key layout. It's only three or four keys short of the same number as a TKL keyboard.
