Customers had to wait a few months, but it looks like the wait is over. Lenovo's PSREF database now lists the additional hardware options people have been waiting for, including 5G, IPS screens and less expensive Intel Core Ultra CPUs. And not just those, as Lenovo surprisingly also adds a new OLED screen.https://www.notebookcheck.net/Surprising-additions-Lenovo-officially-launches-more-options-for-ThinkPad-X1-Carbon-Gen-13.965464.0.html
Welcome news.
This likely also means that the 10th generation X1 2-in-1 (formerly Yoga) will launch soon.
Shame there is no outdoor-capable display.
Oh I will be waiting for the Low Power IPS version. It is really odd that this has not been released yet...
The WWAN and 8 MP camera options are still hit or miss: Lenovo Singapore offers WWAN but not the 8 MP camera, Lenovo Germany offers the camera but no WWAN, Lenovo USA offers neither... – same thing for Lenovo Japan (which I have been checking for weeks) and contrary to the article.
