Title: Nvidia GeForce RTX 5090 departs from RTX 3090 Ti and RTX 4090 flagship tradition, drops VRAM ECC for pro workloads

Nvidia has curiously removed the option to toggle VRAM ECC state via the driver in the RTX 5090. Cards like the RTX 3090 Ti and RTX 4090 allow turning on ECC state via the driver to improve memory reliability for professional workloads, even though these cards use a "soft ECC" instead of a dedicated on-die ECC memory chip.
