Title: Misleading official 'uninstall Microsoft Edge' guide gets taken down after backlash
Post by: Redaktion on February 12, 2025, 13:10:24
Earlier this month, Microsoft put up a misleading guide about uninstalling Edge. After facing a backlash, however, the company quietly removed the page and redirected it to something that doesn't pretend to be an uninstall guide.

Edge LOL.  I use Deepin Browser.  It's a custom build made by Deepin team based on open source Chromium.  Edge isn't the only non Google Chromium browser around. Who needs to send private data and personal browsing habits to MSFT anymore?

Deepin browser is spyware that sends your personal data and browsing habits to be sold. If one wants chromium, there is ungoogled chromium which removes all the spyware.
