Title: Casio unveils two new Radio Solar watches with power-saving mode
Post by: Redaktion on February 07, 2025, 16:11:51
Casio has just released two G-Shock Baby-G watches in Japan. The BGA-2510SP-7AJR and the BGR-3003SP-7JR are both radio-controlled and offer solar charging for an extended battery life. Other features of these new wearables include world time zones, a stopwatch and multiple daily alarms.

Casio seems to be going BACKWARDS in their Watch releases lately.

I have 4 different examples of 'radio controlled' and COMPLETELY 'solar powered' watches from DECADES ago that still work as good as new-in-box!!!

Simply allow any one of them to get enough direct sunlight and be in a 'RF Friendly' area ~midnight-5AM and they will ALWAYS have the correct time+date as well as a full charge. :)

Sure, while most examples only have the stop watch, IP77, single alarm, dual time zone and may or not have the countdown timer these 'silly' watches are decades old.

Why 'silly'?? Because you'd have to break/destroy one and/or lose it to ever need another one. (IE: never needs replacement!)

Notebookcheck should be renamed Casiocheck, as most of the content is about Casio Watches lately,
and not about Notebooks.
