Title: Anbernic RG34XX SP: Early rumours of a new 3:2 clamshell gaming handheld start with performance upgrades
Post by: Redaktion on January 31, 2025, 13:42:35
According to various sources, Anbernic is actively developing a successor to last year's RG35XX SP. While the so-called RG34XX SP may borrow a 3:2 display from the RG34XX for 2x integer scaling of GBA games, it is reputed to do away with the Allwinner H700 chipset for a healthy performance boost.

It's 3x gba integer scale, not 2x.
Not making this with H700 is a bit bad news. It will most likely serve for just GBA games anyways with that display aspect. For that H700 is already more than needed, but it would bring along all the custom firmwares which are already there for other H700 consoles...
