Phosphorene has better potential than graphene as it's a semiconductor straight up, no need to jump through hoops to make it so.

Will this make Computing any cheaper? Would this phosphorine that another person mentioned make computing any cheaper? That's what I care about is getting the price of laptops down to a more affordable price for folks. These $1,000 to $3,000 laptops have got to go.

"will stuff become more affordable as a result" - no, I don't think so, man. Fifteen years ago, I stumbled upon a very reasonable thought while reading a certain magazine. You just can't buy a good laptop for less than $1K. Quite a few years have passed but that statement still holds true today.

Keep in mind that the companies in this business want to make money - they are not in it to make your life or my life easy.
