Xbox Game Pass and Steam provide very different experiences to Ninja Gaiden 2 Black players. The just-released remaster only offers DLSS on Steam, robbing other gamers of enhanced performance. Why do so many Xbox Game Pass and Steam versions of the same game differ so dramatically?https://www.notebookcheck.net/Ninja-Gaiden-2-Black-disappoints-Xbox-Game-Pass-PC-players-with-no-DLSS-option.952286.0.html
So like reading 'between the lines' here...
1/2 baked games are sent to MS Labs for 'certification' early while work on the game continues.
Then when the MS platform game is certified BOTH versions are released to the respective platforms.
So like, why would anyone want the MS version then?
Well, I find Game Pass is a good way to try out games. But often, for the best experience and full workshops with mods, I end up buying the Steam version.
dlss is crap and makes games look like crap, also lots of games dont give advanced graphics options. but mainly dlss is garbage.

Clearly has only used DLSS 2 on ultra performance. DLSS 3 on Quality even on 1080p looks nigh identical, that's just a fact, and DLSS 4 will improve on it even further.
