Garmin has started rolling out new updates for two of its popular mid-range smartwatches. Available to download globally, Software Version 12.12 focuses on resolving outstanding issues that shipped with earlier stable software updates.

Still waiting on Garmin to allow my watch to tell me the weather, without having to be tethered to my phone. If I have to carry around my phone with me for my watch to tell me the weather, I'll just look at my phone, because it will give more information and has a much better screen. This is a big let down from Garmin. If the watch is smart enough to connect to the internet to get me firmware updates, it should be smart enough to tell me the weather with out needing a separate device.
