Fujifilm looks to be preparing to introduce four new cameras in 2025. Here's everything the rumour mill has to say about the upcoming affordable X-E4, the fixed-lens, medium-format GFX100RF, the medium-format GFX Eterna cinema camera, and the ultra-compact half-frame camera with a 1-inch sensor.

A version of GFX100RF with a fixed GF 55mm f1.7 would have much higher IQ and versatility.

I don't think the 28 mm FOV is terrible, although you're correct about the 55 mm being more versatile. It'll still make a nice high-end street photography and landscape camera, but the F4 is a bit of a let-down. If it were something like F1.7, like you say, it'd have so much more low-light performance.
