Samsung's new QD-OLED Smart TVs should get upwards of 47% brighter than last year's models. While other advantages like an improved anti-glare coating are also on offer, they will not be headed to this year's 83-inch option.https://www.notebookcheck.net/Samsung-S95F-Smart-TV-Benefits-of-new-QD-OLED-panel-described-with-plans-for-new-83-inch-model-revealed.946973.0.html
I don't know how much brighter TVs need to get. I have an S95D 65 inch in a room with full afternoon sun through sliding glass doors, and it's as bright as it needs to be. I wouldn't make it any brighter even if I could.
Too bad you didn't do your homework. This article is one big misleading piece of useless info. In 83 inch version of S95F there is actually a BIG UPGRADE instead of your "unfortunately WOLED panel". That (83") version will get a new Tandem RGB Oled display panel from LG which is a huge improvement and real next generation of OLED displays. Get some knowledge and start thinking more logically at first. For now, 4 TV brands will provide this technology in their upcoming TVs and their model symbols are known to those who actually car read and listen with understanding. Shame on you - that was my last visit on this website.
