Title: Motorola Moto G Power (2025) launches with a bigger display, Android 15, but a downgraded processor
Post by: Redaktion on January 14, 2025, 17:47:10
The Moto G Power 2025 arrives with a slight redesign, improved durability, but a downgrade in the chipset department. Nevertheless, it retains most of the features of its predecessor including its price tag.

Why not get the G75 with the same screen resolution, (should be the same) battery capacity, and a faster processor with 4x A78/4x A55's instead of 2x A76/6x A55's with this MediaTek processor?

And for some reason, the Dimensonity 7020 with only 2x A78/6x A55 is 11% faster compared to the SD 6s Gen 3 4x A78/4x A55 in the A75. Buy the 2024 version!

Does the moto G75 work with 5G networks in the United States? Motorola doesn't sell the device in the USA but I'm assuming you can still buy one pretty easily.

The G75 does have support for all bands- see u/KingShadowUK's post on Reddit.

Motorola isn't very good at providing OS updates for it's entry/mid level devices.I assume it'll either case be much less than Samsung's attempts.

I replaced my Moto E6 with a Moto G Power 5G (2024). Personally I think the E6 had a better processor and GPU. The Moto G Play is $100 less than the G Power 5G and the difference in the hardware isn't that much.
Buyer's Remorse? Not exactly, the G Power 5G was on sale ($200) so the price difference was small enough to get me to splurge.
The selling point for me is the excellent FM RADIO Motorola phones have. If it has a headphone connector, it has a FM radio too!😎
