The GX06 is a new, compact mini PC with an Intel Core i9 processor and an Nvidia 4050 GPU, making the model suitable for light video gaming. But purchasing the mini PC is not completely without potential pitfalls and problems.https://www.notebookcheck.net/GX06-New-compact-PC-with-cooling-system-like-the-Mac-Mini-and-dedicated-GPU.940648.0.html
I need one with a 8 / 12 / 16 core Ryzen. I'm doing virtualization here.
I'm glad this review mentions Minisforum HX9* family miniPCs. The AMD 6600m GPU in HX family is still a better option than NVIDIA GPU in this new Intel miniPC.
FWIW. I bought Minisforum HX90G in January 2023(!) and it's still closest thing to magic I've ever seen. Bought many more miniPCs since.
Using and buying computers for forty+ years.
Need better benchmarks to prove this, of course.
Agreed. This mini-PC only has the serious looks going for it compared to the HX99G, but whoever needs nVidia for whatever reason, it's an OK option (if priced right, and if noise levels aren't too bad).
The Mac M4 will still kill it though

For non-gaming, yes.

I'm more than happy that the power supply is external: the generated heat stays outside + easier to replace if it fails (which is more common than one would think).
