Google has announced Android XR as the operating system that will power headsets and smart glasses in the future. Big meh, and it's the same feeling it gets regardless it's from Meta, Apple, Microsoft, Samsung or now Google. Nobody is addressing the lack of use cases AR/VR is supposed to enhance in a non-gaming setting.
They just focus on the hardware as if its the only challenge with these headsets.
