Title: Steam Deck 2: First details of Valve Fremont point to higher performance for new gaming handheld or console
Post by: Redaktion on December 06, 2024, 19:45:34

Unofficially, you can have a compatible SteamOS derived distribution on your ROG Ally today using SteamFork or a SteamOS like distribution using another of the many community supported gaming distributions. :)

I'm using Bazzite on a ROG Ally. It's as good as SteamOS, and much better than Windows!

The Fremont is not a handheld. It's a walled console. We know that because it has a full size HMDI that is wired into a board APU. This is all literally in the same leak btw, including the conclusion.
