this bike is an abomination (though, I'm sure, somebody WILL buy it!)
First, 'trekking' (bike-trekking) means, most of the time, no access to electricity (sure, you still have pedals - for now ;)
Secondly, it means not only no access to electricity, but no access to a repair shop that can fix it.
So, essentially, if this 4.6K Euro lump of metal and plastic breaks down (and the more complex the systems, to more prone to failure, especially with new technologies) - you're reduced to having to use your muscles (if you have any left) to prop this 30kg weight (plus luggage, plus yourself) forward.
Thirdly, yes, the weight is absurd, given that your luggage, even ultralight, is another 10 - 20 kg on top. Lugging the 30 kg - DELICATE, given the e-motor, bike on the train, stairs, back of a lorry, etc., good luck with that.
but of course, if by 'trekking' you mean trips that involve moving daily from one hotel to another hotel, over a perfectly maintained bicycle path in France or Germany, and at the end of your 'trek' somebody loads your presssssious on the trailer that you haul behind your e-car (what else ;) that yeah, this will work :)
