But the incoming administration doesn't belive in global warming.

Knowing this may happen I took advantage of incentives in Colorado and purchased a $52k Model Y Performance for $25k.

The incentives were also for local EV production in North America.
My guess how it will turn out is that they will remove Chinese manufacturers from the tax credits setting requirements like company must be 51% US owned.
The road tax, charging tax and higher energy cost have made EVs way less attractive. EV sales have stagnated. The loss of tax credit might severely negatively impact EV demand.
