Title: FN60G WE: New mini-PC arrives to challenge the Apple Mac Studio with RTX 4090 and liquid cooling
Post by: Redaktion on November 11, 2024, 14:27:47
The FN60G WE is a new mini-PC that packs a whole host of powerful components within an Apple Mac Studio-esque housing. Not only does the FN60G WE feature an Intel Core i9-14900KF processor and an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4090 laptop GPU, but it also keeps these parts cool with a Thermalright liquid cooler.

I've never owned a Mac and I'm a lifelong Android user so I'm not a die hard Apple guy but "compete" is a real stretch.

The Mac mini starts at $500, this PC would probably be $3k for similar performance

I've been considering a mini computer purchase for 6 months leaning towards a PC but with the new Mac mini I'm having a hard time seeing the benefit of a PC for my use case (I don't game)

Plus if you really need performance with the m4 pro you can buy the entire mini PC for less than you can even get the 4090 for the PC in this article and that's just ridiculous for potential PC buyers
