Title: Tesla FSD avoids hitting a deer as NHTSA probes misleading descriptions of its abilities

Tesla needs to demonstrate for regulators that FSD drives safer than humans to get the Robotaxi approved for city streets, and a deer accident avoidance only adds to its life-saving street cred.

I doubt any AI or human would be able to accurately predict the fickle nature of wildlife on roads.  I've had a rabbit and racoon(separate incidents) cross the entire road surface well before my car, only to have them stupidly turn around and dart back under my vehicle.  (Incidentally, Named my Prius's Bluetooth  "Racoon_Smoosher" after the incident, which, predictably, tore off much of the front end of my Prius 2010 and ate up my deductible.

Good job Tesla?

What a load of propaganda. Literally a video just days ago shows a Tesla plowing through a deer and not even slowing down and kept on driving.
