The Sharp XP-X171Q 4K laser projector has been revealed. Designed for business use, the model is said to deliver up to 16,500 lumens brightness. Other features of the DLP projector include support for a range of lenses, various input ports and ProAssist management software.

People need to stop calling 1920 by 1200 "4k" it is not 4k, it's not even 2k.

Article doesn't make this clear. Screen resolution is actually higher than 4k @ 3860x2400. TI-based projectors like these use high speed pixel shifting to effectively show 4x the pixels of the image chip.
