Even though they could use the modular CAMM2 RAM format, it looks like they won't. You get a one-sized-fixed package and have to stick with it until it breaks. No allowance to upgrade or change components yourself. It's always the same shitshow.

There are only 2 reasons for it to not be popular: either it has terrible performance (which I doubt), or it will be extremely expensive (which would explain why start with workstations).
Ramping up production and software issues are things that can be fixed with time, but actually thinking of NOT selling then to mini-PC manufacturers seems like a very strange thing to do.
It would be a big mistake if AMD and motherboard manufacturers do not incorporate LPCAMM2 RAM upgrade option into laptop motherboards, as it is the future with lower consumption, better performance and lower temperatures, and the ability to be changed by the user himself. This means you can buy a laptop with 32GB and after 4-5 years you can upgrade it to 64GB of RAM. I hope minisforum, ACER, ASUS, MSI, etc. do something similar.

I think that their idea is for you to buy the 64 GB one directly, if that's what you will eventually need.
