The Realme GT 7 Pro with Snapdragon 8 Elite is already in the hands of reviewers. While this next-gen flagship phone has what it takes to deliver big performance jumps compared to its predecessor, it overheated in early stress tests.

It's too early to post just a one-case scenario issue about the Snapdragon 8 elite.

Considering how efficient and cool the X Elite runs on laptops, I would find it mind boggling if the 8 Elite is a house fire.
I saw some chinese video of the Xiaomi 15 hitting 40°C after a gaming session, no info about power usage or throttling though.

Either way, SoC manufacturers need to focus more on efficiency than just power power power....
