Well good for them!! Hopefully they can find work-from-home elsewhere.

While some jobs require ether "hands on" or "face to face" interaction (or both!) in order to accomplish or be productive in them, far many others not so much.

After evolving from being a silent/faceless wheel in the development cycle placed in a sea of thousands of work stations the pandemic drove me home out of that sea.

Surely the non interactive with others nature of my duties could be carried out anywhere that I could obtain energy & network connection.

When the time came where they demanded that I return to the office I retired.
