Panasonic has announced two new consumer camcorders for 2024 - the 4K HC-VX3 and the 2K HC-V900. Both have 24x optical zoom lenses, electronic and optical image stabilization, and 5.1-channel microphones with wind noise suppression.

Coupled with a smartphone, it will be a hard choice to pull one out for video recording, I might switch between take outs.
