Title: In a heart-warming act of humanity, Apple helps save an employee’s grandmother from the chaos in Kharkiv
Post by: Redaktion on October 26, 2024, 21:41:52
In a recent tweet, a former Apple employee claimed that the tech behemoth conducted a full-scale operation to extract people, including her grandmother, from the turmoil in Kharkiv in 2023. Turns out, Tim Cook really is the master of logistics - be it of any kind.

I wonder what that a 'turmoil in 2023' was, perhaps some flash-flooding? Earthquate? Mass riots maybe? Surely not Covid 2.0?! And then, omg, 'the crisis worsened', perhaps a localised solar flare?!
Thanks God, in a real world a war is called a war, not a 'turmoil' or 'crisis'.

Just called it war already. Why do you have to call it a turmoil?

Could be that the author is from India, where Rashist propaganda runs rampant?

Yeah. Calling it 'turmoil' is kinda sus. Is it to try to avoid some content filters/monetization guidelines? It's a WAR. You could have at least substituted it for 'conflict'.
