According to new reports, Microsoft is plotting an Intel Lunar Lake refresh of not just the Surface Laptop, but also its Surface Pro 2-in-1. A potential release window has also been revealed, as have various specifications for both devices.

Lunar Lake for Surface Pro 12 is good for long battery life if there will be passively cooled, silent versions. Otherwise, the crucial, still missing aspects remain (semi-)matte display and the most easily user-replaceable battery (without any danger of destroying the display) with long availability at a fair price (instead of the current total rip-off prices).
